Finallllllll.

  1. List/discuss several of the different pieces of writing you’ve done this quarter, including posts, comments, creative pieces, journals, in-class writings, and things you’ve written on your own.

Hmm we’ve done the post about Dan in Real life, I wrote the love that got away, we did our top 5 favorite quotes, the photo hunt, 101 facts about ourselves. There was very other posts that we have done.

  1. Name/discuss a couple of pieces you’ve read this quarter, including other classmates’ work and/or reading you’ve done in or out of class.

I haven’t read anything. If I have I do not remember. Sorry.

  1. Write about setting up your blog and what you have gotten from that experience.  How did you come up with the name for your blog?  Who do you think read it or who would you want to read it?  Will you continue to use it on your own in the future?  What kinds of things will you post?

I came up with my blog name, because I always daydream, worry and think about everything besides what I’m supposed to be thinking of. Mostly just people in class. And I wouldn’t like anybody to read it because my posts aren’t that good and I don’t like them.

  1. Write about journaling.  What kinds of things are in your journal?  Who would you want to read it?  Will you continue to journal?  What will you write about?

Only things in my journal were things I had to post on my blog. I don’t like anybody reading my stuff. I feel like it will get judged.

  1. Type an entry directly from your journal that you consider notable.  It could be a paragraph or a page or so.  You don’t have to explain it, but you could.

“Got a long list of ex-lovers

They’ll tell you I’m insane

Cause you know I love the players

And I cant sweep you off of your feet

So love me like you do, love me like you do

Youre the only thing I wanna touch

And darling I will be love you ‘til we’re 70

If the high was worth the pain

Will your mouth still remember the taste of my love?

That maybe we found love right where we are.”

  1. Type or copy/paste a passage or section directly from one of your pieces of writing that you consider notable or your favorite that you’ve written.  It could be a section or a page or so.

“Everything happened with lightning speed. I cried with all my heart as I said my final good-byes to my teachers. I somehow knew I would never see them again. By the tears in their eyes I realized they understood the truth about me—the real truth. Why I was so different from the other children; why I smelled and dressed in rags; why I climbed into garbage cans to hunt for a morsel of food,”

This particular set of words caught my attention, due to how descriptive they were. I could picture them all in tears in my head. I’ve always been through the whole good-bye thing because I have moved around a lot. It really is a hurting feeling. But also knowing that this boy was saved from his moms hurtful hands made it even better to stick in my mind. This is not only the second paragraph to the book it is also the beginning of his new life. It shows that he no longer has to suffer. He is going to be moved to a family that actually loves and cares about him. He won’t be a burden on anybody anymore. He will learn that he does belong in the world and what his mother did to him was wrong. That someone actually does actually love and cares about him. Someone will provide the food and proper shelter that he deserves. He is about to get nothing, but the best. He grew up learning that being treated badly was how he thought he was supposed to be treated. Now he will find out it wasn’t right and he did nothing wrong.

  1. What creative writing do you plan to do in the future, if any?  What do you get out of writing creatively?  How does this differ from the other writing you do, in school and in life?

I don’t like to write much, so I probably won’t be writing anything outside of class. Unless they tell me to do so in college.

  1. Some final words of encouragement, appreciation, inspiration, etc. for your fellow writers you’ve worked with this quarter...

I wish all you luck in your final days of school, I hope you have a great summer. And for those you not graduating this year, I future school years are fun. I had a good time with this class.
